My aunt is constantly trying to get my family and me to invest in network marketing businesses. At first the idea of it sounds good. They are well thought out and seem to have the potential to be a lucrative financial move, however, my aunt and her husband don’t seem to make any money themselves. At the end of the day my conscience screams “pyramid scheme” and that can’t be good. Am I wishing upon a star by getting on this bandwagon? Or are my voices inside my head correct in telling me that this could lead to nothing or even worse, disaster?

Most are scams.
If that is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company, save your money and avoid it. The only people making money in MLM schemes are the early investors or those who exploit enough downstream salespeople to support themselves.
Those people might insist, “How am I exploiting my downstream?” Answer: because your downstream should be allowed to buy from your upstream just like you; you add nothing of value to your downstream, but you take a large commission out of their sales.

There is so much confusion in the Network Marketing world concerning the purchasing of Network Marketing opportunity leads, as appose to generating your own leads. First, let us define the term Network Marketing leads. Leads are defined as prospects or persons demonstrating their interest in a particular business opportunity or venture. Every business opportunity needs Leads to succeed, or to be successful. Without Leads or prospects, no MLM or business opportunity will survive. Leads or prospects are the lifeline of any business venture, especially Network Marketing.
There are so many so call lead suppliers companies in the Network, Internet Marketing world. Some legitimate, some not trust worthy at all. Some Lead suppliers will say to you that the leads that they sell to you are not oversold. In other words, they say that when you purchase Leads from their company, the Leads are only sold two times, and you will never receive the same Leads as the person in the same MLM company as you, but how do you know that this is true? You have no way of knowing.
Let us investigate the way these so call Network Marketing Leads are generated. First of all, the Leads are generic and persons opting into the lead capture pages, of the Lead generating companies, are not always business opportunity seekers. Some of the Leads are persons visiting Travel Agencies websites attempting to book vacations, and have no interest in Network Marketing at all. These persons are offered some kind of free gift, or other opportunities they can’t refuse, in exchange for their names and email addresses. The lead generating companies use techniques like pop ups, squeeze pages and float in lead captures page techniques, to capture name and email addresses, of site visitors. This technique is very effective.
I remembered the day I purchase my first batch of Network Marketing Generic leads. I was so excited. I begin to work my self down the list calling prospects after prospects, with no success at all. I felt so defeated. Some prospect hung up on me, others asked me where did I receive their contact information from. They informed me that they have no recollection of filling out any forms on the Internet, with their contact information. Yikes! That seems high! I know that is a lot less than starting up a traditional business, but with Network marketing you are normally approaching people that would never consider starting a traditional business. So their mindset may think $ 1500.00 is a high start up.
I think with network marketing you need to keep it simple. It is a game of copy cat. You need to be clear on starting your own business so that you can be clear when showing others how to do the same.
Network marketing is a GREAT business for anyone that is willing to learn new skills. As you know if can really help people earn an extra income on their own terms. Each person has to find the Network Marketing Company that is right for them. They are all different.
I wish you the best if you stick with the company you mentioned here, but you may want to look at a few before starting.
Normally a good company will have a small start up cost of just a couple hundred dollars at the most. You should not have to keep inventory. Any training they offer should be free or the cost should only be to cover their cost for putting on the training. Pick a company that offers a product or service that people really need again and again. Better yet a product or service that people already use…so that you are only asking them to switch the place they purchase this product or service…not have to purchase something new. This will make sales easier and you will have clients that are repeat shoppers..your network will grow faster. Vitamins, Lotion, Shampoo….those types of things.
Remember you have to believe in the product or service you are offering, but it does not have to be your passion. (not your passions but a better gig than a regular job) Network Marketing Income provides the means so you can then go after the things you are passionate about.

And today, I share a 4-storey waterfront home in one of the most beautiful cities in the world with my husband and two daughters, and I own a thriving business.
Following these two steps that I’m about to share with you made all of this possible for me, and it can do that for you too.
Here are the two steps:
#1. Find someone who has already done what you want to do and learn from them.We’ve all been told to work smart, not hard – and that’s exactly what this step is all about. Why make mistakes when you can learn from other people’s?
#2. Invest in yourself. Now, I know that making an investment in yourself is sometimes a hard thing to do. Lord knows you may have been conditioned to place everybody else’s welfare ahead of our own, or maybe it just ended up that way.
But know this, any goals will take longer to achieve if you’re not prepared to invest in learning the things you need to learn. Aren’t you worth it?
